Qualified Automotive Technician
Lift Truck Specialists Pty Ltd (incorporating Active Tilt Trays) is a family-owned, local business operating out of a state-of-the-art facility in Wendouree. Since 2004 we have supplied materials handling equipment requirements throughout Victoria through our sales and service centre, as well as hiring and servicing forklifts for an ever-expanding clientele. We pride ourselves on getting the job done as quickly as possible, without compromising on quality.
Lift Truck Specialists Pty Ltd require the services of a full-time Field Service/Automotive Technician for our large customer base and hire fleet.
The positions are based in Ballarat however we would be keenly interested to hear from applicants who reside or would be able to cover the Central Highlands, Bendigo, Castlemaine, Maryborough and Geelong districts as we have a full contingent of companies who require regular servicing and repairs of their forklifts, scissors lifts etc.
It is a requirement of this position that the candidate have a current driver’s licence, have good computer knowledge, excellent communication skills and a friendly and accommodating demeanour.
The successful candidate will also need to have a forklift licence, white card, elevated work platform licence and some knowledge of business site inductions, as this is a requirement at some companies. Lift Truck Specialists will give assistance when necessary.
You will be required to work unsupervised as well as be a productive team member with the other service technicians. A service van is provided with this position as well as fuel card, complete uniform and other necessities for this role.
Remuneration will be commensurate of knowledge, skills and proven track record in the service technician industry. This position is full-time, 38 hours per week however, overtime may be requested when workload necessitates. HR Truck/Transportation Drivers

Lift Truck Specialists Pty Ltd has a position now open for a full-time HR Tilt Tray Truck Driver for transportation of our hire fleet of forklifts as well as transport requirements for the myriad of other companies that we service daily.
The positions are based in Ballarat/Melbourne and we are interested to hear from applicants who can travel throughout regional Victoria and our major cities, are thorough and meticulous with collecting and completing all required documentation and are computer literate. You will be working to a schedule so it is imperative that you possess great communication skills and the ability to be pro-active.
As you will be servicing many different and exciting workplaces, it is necessary for you to provide excellent customer service as you are representing Lift Truck Specialists Pty Ltd and Active Tilt Trays Pty Ltd and you will need to have a forklift licence, EWP licence, white card and construction/induction site familiarity. Lift Truck Specialists Pty Ltd will give assistance when necessary.
You must be able to show a clean driving record, are confident in handling large loads and have the ability to make sure that everything is transported safely and within legal limits. Regular inspections of the truck and cargo is tantamount to ensuring a safe delivery on every occasion.
You will be required to work unsupervised as well as be a productive team member with the other transport drivers and Fleet Manager. You will be provided with a fuel card, complete uniform and other necessities for this role.
